I still kinda wonder why Frog is the only person in his time period who talks like he's at a Ren Faire.

I recall an epic fan of the series telling me that in the Japanese version, Frog delivers his lines in a very formal style of speech, as opposed to the more "common" speech of the rest of the characters. For some reason, his ultra-formal syntax was translated into Olde English.

I guess it seemed like a good idea at the time?
