I nicked this one from onyx-shinigami (who had a totally sweet list herself!) I think some of my choices have more to do with the person who is there than a physical place ^_^; I also tried to think of some that were not on her list already :}
The Top 10 Fictional Places I Would Love to Visit
10 - The Coffee Shop in Hill Valley (Back to the Future 1 and 2)
http://www.filminamerica.com/Movies/BackToTheFuture/1bttf22.jpg
Who wouldn't want to see Biff and his relatives coming in saying "Hey, McFly!" messing up insults, calling people "Butt Head" and Marty kicking his ass? Buford Tannen was easily the scariest/most threatening of the Tannen's which is why 3 isn't on the list... I'd rather he were just a stupid bully not a bully with a gun and a license to kill.
9 - Gotham
http://usschesapeake.org/weblogs/wayne/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/batman.jpg
Who doesn't love Batman? I love the "Dark Deco" Gotham of Batman the Animated Series. Which really was a well done show considering how little money/effort they put into most cartoons these days.
8 - Castlevania
http://gamerlimit.com/files/2010/04/castlevania-chars2.jpg
Yeah, ok probably not the smartest pick. But I'm ok with Konami's quirky, convoluted, version of Romania. The outfits are totally awesome XD Maybe it's more of a pick because I like the impractical Gothic outfits... and the fact that the Belmonts are equally as cool if not cooler than the vampires.
7 - Ernest's House
http://www.jimvarney.org/ernbig3.jpg
Ernest is my favorite lovable, red neck. In "Ernest Goes to Jail" he has this awesome house filled with all kinds of contraptions. But more importantly I'd like to hang out with Ernest even if he is accident prone.
6 - The City (The Tick)
http://www.southdacola.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/the_tick_spoon-770895.jpg
Although The City is filled with villains, they still have to face the Mighty Blue Justice that is The Tick! I'd go here because The Tick and Arthur are totally keen. I'd never get bored living in their quirky universe. Spoooon!
5 - The Soyokaze (The Irresponsible Captain Tylor)
http://www.absoluteanime.com/irresponsible_captain_tylor/index.jpg
If the military were really run like Tylor's ship in the United Planets Space Force, I'd totally sign up! XD "Let's forget the rules and do whatever we want! The Captain has spoken!" and yet, "Things will work out." :D
4 - The Mushroom Kingdom
http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Main_cast_scene_SMB3.jpg
The first of two Miyamoto worlds on my list XD I'd live in the Mushroom Kingdom. I'm not sure what people really do there, and the princess is sweet but clueless. But with Mario kicking ass and taking names, I don't think we'd have much to worry about XD I'd totally hang out with Mario and Luigi!
3 - Monsteropolis (The City of the Original Megaman Universe)
http://static.gamesradar.com/images/mb/GamesRadar/us/Features/2010/04/iPhone%20Wallpapers/1/mega-man-2--article_image.jpg
Waaaay back in the day, the original name for the city in the Megaman universe was Monsteropolis. I don't really care enough to find out if they ever actually renamed the place to make it sound less made up. But, back in Megaman 1 this is what the place was called. A sort of sprawling city that you could imagine to be any large, urban, place that already exists. (Though knowing the Japanese it was probably supposed to be in Japan and was quite possibly Tokyo ;} ).
But I don't care about the city, I only care that it's filled with quirky Wily robots. XD

Sure, my stuff might get blown up at random. But if Megaman 1-10 are any indication I will be blessed with one of three gifts: naivety, unconditional forgiveness or chronic stupidity that will enable me to forget that Wily does this every 6 months. I would be happy in the Megaman X universe too (same universe/place 30-100 years later), even if the robots want to kill all the humans.
2 - The World of Osamu Tezuka
http://www.tezukaenfrancais.com/TIE/NatsuCoverL.jpg
It's hard to explain exactly what I mean here... but those who are a fan of Tezuka's work probably know exactly what I mean. I want to live in this universe with his actor/characters. I'd probably be happy living in any one of his major manga series: Astro Boy, Black Jack, etc. Though there are a few stories I'd rather not be a part of ^_^; ("Swallowing the Earth," for example). If I'm feeling homicidal/suicidal I'd enjoy teaming up with Rock. But if I want a safe, predictable, outcome where good always wins, Kenichi would be a better companion ^^; Shunsaku Ban also gets much love. I'd totally be Duke Red's hench wench as nothing is more awesome than a rich, bad, dude.
1 - Hyrule
http://media.giantbomb.com/uploads/0/4745/264069-ze15_super.jpg
My top place to visit ought to be pretty predictable. I'd totally go to Hyrule. Sure, Ganon comes around about once every hundred years to wreck our shit, but the 3 goddesses will always make sure that there's a hero to take him down before it gets real bad. ^^; It's nice when life is predictable and balanced. (And as we know the real lesson here is that a truly balanced ruler would have wisdom, power and courage). Everyone loves a good fantasy world and nothing would make me happier than riding a horse over Hyrule field and visiting the Gorons <3. I also love Gerudo women as they are totally bad ass and I wouldn't mind being one.
