1) What was your FIRST video game console?
Atari 7800, though I think my first experience with a console was my grandfather's Atari 2600 ^^; (cool fun fact, one of my grandfathers actually played video games!!!)

2) Name a few games you played on said console.

- FOOD FIGHT! (OMG the "instant replay" was cool!)
- Dig Dug
- Donkey Kong
- Donkey Kong Jr.
- Pitfall (it's easier if you go right instead of left)
- Ms. Pacman
- E.T. (even though it sucked on many levels)
- Raiders of the Lost Ark (I don't think anyone knew how to play that game)
- Q Bert (I sucked at it buuut I WANTED to be good)


3) Excluding handhelds, how many VG consoles do you own presently?
Heh what DON'T I own? ;}
- NES
- SNES
- N64
- Game Cube (with Game Boy Player attachment)
- Wii
- PS
- PS2 (two of them, one modded big version, one slim one)
(Though in my lifetime I have also been in posession of a Genesis and a 32X... however my brother has those now. These are just the ones in my house right this minute).

4) Were you a Street Fighter nut? Any character in particular?
No, I hate Street Fighter. I don't like learning a bazillion button combos in order to execute ONE MOVE (Give me "Smash Bros." anyday). But if I had to pick? Chun-Li.

5) Do you think Capcom is a FUCKING awesome company with kickass character designs?
Fifteen years ago, they were hands down my favorite comapny. Now? They are way down my list because the games they make now tend to look rushed or are so ridiculously difficult they aren't fun. With the exception of Monster Hunter Tri, which is the BEST Capcom game I have played in AGES. I long for a GOOD Megaman game. Not that Battle Network crap and not something ridiculously hard with levels filled with spike traps because the level designers are just dicks (I'm looking at you Megaman X6 and X8). Konami, on the other hand, has gone WAY UP my list in the last 15 years. You go, Konami.

6) Here’s the scenario… You had some friends over and you all ate FRIED CHICKEN! After the meal you all decide to play some video games. As your friend reaches for a controller you notice his/her hands are very “greasy.” Are you the type that would insist they wash their hands before pawing the controller, or is it no big deal?
Um please do not be touching my controllers with your greasy hands like a 7 year old. Go wash up. >:p

7) What’s your favorite RPG/Action RPG?
Right now? Monster Hunter Tri... I think that counts as action RPG... Though I'm also fond of Tales of Symphonia, Dragon Quest VIII, Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VII.

8) Do you prefer 2D games or 3D games?
Depends on the game. I like both honestly but I don't think 3D is required for a game to be AWESOME (New Super Mario Bros. Wii anyone???)

9) Are you an SNK fan?
No... don't like fighting games and King of Fighters is probably their most popular title... Card games are ok but they get old fast...

9) Are you good at DDR?
No. Though Mario DDR is fun.

WHO DOESN'T?

11) Have you skipped out on important events in life because of video games?
Honestly??? When I lived in Guam, I pretty much regretted going out and wished I had stayed home and played video games >:p Important events, I won't skip out on. But going out for the sake of going out??? No, I should have stayed home and played video games.

12) Do you listen to video game music?
Almost exclusively these days.

13) Have you ever cosplayed a VG character?
Yup ^^ And I will totally do it again.

14) Have you ever been in an arcade playing a fighting game, KICKING ASS, and then some 6 year old Asian kid comes in and OWNS YOU??
No, because I don't play fighting games. Though, I have made an exception when I've come across a Megaman the Power Fighters machine... Which is more like a ton of Megaman boss fights in a row, not a fighting game.

15) Name three games you would love to see remakes of if it was done properly.
- Megaman X1 but only if it doesn't suck... (which with Capcom's record the last 15 years...)
- Final Fantasy VII because I think it'd be sweet with smooth character models (but only if Squeenix doesn't lame out and eliminate all the towns because "Traditional RPG Towns Are Tough To Do In HD" lame,lazy ass, excuse if you ask me.)
- The original Legend of Zelda in 3D :} (Link's Adventure being a close second as I SWEAR that game would make so much more sense in 3D)

16) Mario or Sonic?
Sonic sucks since he went 3D and started doing lame track games (Sonic and the Secret Rings, Sonic and the Black Night??? WTF??)... Mario still has it.

17) When a movie shows up in the theaters, let’s use Spider-man as an example, are you likely to buy the GAME version?
When I was a kid... yeah I probably would consider it (or at least rent it). But now? I don't own any ;p

18) What is your LEAST favorite genre of video games? (ex. fighting, sports, shooters, etc.)
Probably sports. There's nothing lamer in this world than a bunch of guys playing a sports video game. Don't care for shooters either, though the Wii makes it more tolerable with the whole point and shoot thing... (ex. Metroid is ok even when it went 3D shooter on me)

19) Is there a game out there that you feel was unique and didn’t get enough love?
Conker's Bad Fur Day. Man I miss that. I wish there was a way to get that on the virtual console... oh well that's what my N64 is for XD

20) Have you ever verbally abused a game because you couldn’t beat one of the levels and/or bosses?
Almost daily.

21) Do you own any VG apparel?
More than I should. Mostly Megaman and Zelda shirts.

22) What are your thoughts on the live-action Super Mario Bros movie?
I saw it once and even as a kid I could tell it was the worst movie ever. Just watch the very badly animated intro, that's enough to make you want to shut it off before you even get a look at Dennis Hopper as Koopa.

23) On that note, what did you think about the live-action Street Fighter movie?
When M. Bison's suit actually gave him chest compressions and revived him...??? That was the last straw. It officially crossed into the same category as Super Mario Bros. the movie.

24) Who’s hottest out of the KOF chicks?
Don't like King of Fighters... don't play fighting games...

25) Do you say “old-school” a lot when you’re having a VG conversation with others?
Occasionally, because I AM 0ld-sk00l seeing as how I started gaming in the 80's ;p

26) Have you ever lent someone a game and they returned it to you damaged?
No, but I nearly killed some of my brothers' friends for returning them after long periods of time. I stopped loaning out games.

Heh, I can talk about games all day... but I guess I'm about done here.

29) In this scenario, let’s pretend you’re going to get a video game tattoo! What would you get and where?
I honestly don't want a tattoo because I change my mind too much. But if I were gonna get one? I'd get the Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess Triforce with wings logo across my back/shoulder blades. That would be FREAKING SWEET.

30) Have you ever cried after you beat a game? If so why?
The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess makes me cry EVERY TIME. I just care SO MUCH about Link and Midna and to see them sad makes ME cry D: I don't want to say what specifically made me cry as some people on my F-List may want to play it sometime...
